Bakous Makari as CEO of Makari  & Co. is motivated by a purpose to make an impact that matters.

Bakous has a strong passion to support finding a cure for cancer and giving back to those affected by cancer, especially children. 

Recently, Bakous took on the challenge to raise funds to raise awareness for Children’s Medical Research Institute (Jeans for Genes) to help find a permanent cure for cancer. Bakous raised $60,000 within the 6-week fitness challenge for this cause.  

“I wish to ensure the research continues so that one day, doctors will identify the cause of this cancer, and be able to develop treatments, so a child with a cancer diagnosis will be able to beat this disease”.

Makari & Co. also supports non-profit organisations through pro bono business and tax advice.
